Birdboxx

Birdboxx aims to change the way in which we find holiday accommodation on the internet. The site will be launched in three key stages with the first stage scheduled for late summer 2011.

Rather than have a blank web site we decided to create a simple and functional ‘coming soon’ page. Glad we did because Birdboxx has gained attention for its design even before the site has been officially launched, earning it a Google page rank of 3/10 into the bargain.

Birdboxx has been featured in numerous web design websites including the highly influential Smashing Magazine who included it in their article as one of the best examples of how to design a coming soon page.

The site has also gained the distinction of being featured in the second volume of The Web Designer’s Idea Book.

We designed, built and implemented Birdboxx within 24 hours using the excellent Launch Soon script. Not only did we create a website that was remarkable enough to get noticed but also one that enabled us to collect relevant emails and Twitter followers from day one.
